Finale esplosivo al Santa Giuliana tra unicità e tradizione
Due grandi pianisti per un finale davvero emozionante. Il primo, Stefano Bollani, che con il suo Napoli Trip ha saputo scaldare il pubblico con note imprevedibili e partenopee, merito anche del sassofonista Daniele Sepe capace di imprimere un sapore tradizionale alla serata. A seguire lo straordinario Chick Corea, che non poteva festeggiare nel modo migliore il 75esimo compleanno davanti ad un pubblico che da sempre lo adora. Quintetto delle meraviglie ieri sera, con Kenny Garrett al sax, Wallace Rooney alla tromba, Christian McBride al contrabbasso e Marcus Gilmore alla batteria. Un concerto bello e intenso che ha chiuso degnamente un'edizione di Umbria Jazz da ricordare
